Appearance: light ruby red with delicate garnet-red hues.

Nose: delicate, reminiscent of violet, raspberry and soft fruit fragrances with memoirs of spices.

Palate: full and pervasive, warm, with a well-balanced tanninous content, solidly built and lingering.

Gastronomic matching: it generally combines with savoury roast and braised red meats, pastas dressed with roast meat sauces, typical of the Piedmontese cooking. However, it is also excellent with ripe cheeses.
